Creative Reading

We will experiment with different modes of reading and writing. We will reconnect with our roots as readers, explore the syllabus of friendship, ponder the spiritual and medicinal aspects of reading and practice difficult reading. We’ll think about how to read the world, how to read the signs, and how to read to write.


We'll meet for two hours each week for six weeks. I'll say a few words to start, then we'll move to a conversation about the reading. In the second half, we'll be doing in-class exercises and sharing (in an extremely optional way) our work.
